This database has been constructed as part of the ERC project M2C (The Most Massive Clusters across cosmic time, ERC-Adv grant No. 340519). It has also benefitted from support from the CEA; the French space agency, CNES; and the PNCG (Programme National Cosmologie et evolution des Galaxies).

This database has made use of data and software provided by the High Energy Astrophysics Science Archive Research Center (HEASARC), the XMM-Newton Science Archive, the Chandra Data Archive, the SWIFT Data Archive, the Planck Legacy Archive, the ROSAT all-sky survey, the Pan-STARRS1 Data Archive, and the WISE Image Service. It has also made use of the SIMBAD database, operated at CDS, Strasbourg, France, of the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED), operated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, and of the SZ cluster database of the Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale, Orsay, France.

Acknowledging the M2C galaxy cluster data base

If your research benefits from the use of this database, the following acknowledgement in your paper would be appreciated: This research has made use of the M2C Galaxy Cluster Database, constructed as part of the ERC project M2C (The Most Massive Clusters across cosmic time, ERC-Adv grant No. 340519).
